Once appradio mode is working, Dashcommand/ODB2 works great. The EQ is usable like this though, too bad the sound is coming out a piezo. Using usb to lightning on a touch, the music comes out of the touch lol. I can see/control music but nothing is audible. using an old ipod with just the usb to 30 pin connection, I have no audio. The car media player is ok, though there's no access to the EQ functions (gah!) That's lame.Īlso. Repeat the source select process over again, hit allow, maybe launch appradio on the ipod touch, eventually I get the interface going. Once I hit allow, half the time the screen goes black and nothing happens.
When I start up the car, I have to open the glove box and hit 'allow' on the ipod. I have the pioneer connection kit for lightning interface (digital av). The HU wants to use the appradio to control the ipod. All I wanted was to stick an ipod touch in the glovebox and play music, and keep my iphone in my pocket. One on bootup, one when you go to nav, one when you go app radio. Startup is quick, there are nag screens that pop up. Click to expand.I had the AVIC-Z150BH installed recently.
